M17 Indy Dollar

Dollar 326 is a great formation in this years game, it provides great coverage, and pretty good heat at the same time. Also, you can use it to play a “high risk, high reward” defense sending 6 to get dual pressure that will hit home with a blocked running back and with slide protection. Utilizing the 2 gap responsibility of NT’s in this game is crucial to having success in this regard!

3 to 4 Man Outside Right (Coverage D that provides pressure)

Plays to Use

  1. Cover 3 Match
  2. Cover 3 Hard Flat
  3. DB Fire 2 Press
  4. Strong Corner 2 Fire
  5. Okie Roll 2 and 3
  6. Edge Blitz 3
  7. Edge Blitz 1
  8. Any Zone Base Play (Cover 3, Cover 4, Cover 6, etc)

Basic Set-Up

  1. Shift LB’s Left and DL Right/Crash Right as Well
  2. Base Align Press
  3. Call Contain
  4. Blitz Right Slot and Move Out a Few Steps until he changes from Contain to Blitz Angle
  5. Bluff Blitz RE (Left of Screen) to make it a 3 man rush *Optional
  6. User based on the play, usually Hover over RG as Shown (Watch Video)

 

 

Edge Blitz 3

  1. Shift LB’s Left and DL Right/Crash Down
  2. Base Align Press
  3. Call Contain
  4. User OLB On the Left

Edge Blitz 1

  1. Shift LB’s Left and DL Right/Crash Down
  2. Man Align, Press
  3. Call Contain Move Blitzing DB 2 Steps Out
  4. User Whomever is manned up on HB

 

 

Str Eagle Slant 3

  1. Shift LB’s Left and DL Right/Crash Left
  2. Base Align, Press
  3. Call Contain, Move Blitzing DB 2 Steps Out
  4. Bluff Blitz LE (Right of Screen) *Optional
  5. User MLB and Stand in Left A Gap

    • Blitz opposite the bunch side, from there it depends on what their tendencies are from bunch as far as what coverage to run, etc
