This week we Focus on red-zone Defense, including Madden 17 QB Sneak Defense, and Stopping Runs and Passes from inside and outside the 10!! In all of the games I have played one thing that I have come to notice is many people cannot stop heavy formations inside the 10. Also alot of people still have no answer for goaline offense like QB Sneak.
Stopping Heavy Runs/ and Passing from the 10 Yard Line and In

This set-up will completely LOCK DOWN pretty much every heavy run in the game while at the same time doing a great job defending tosses and the pass concepts used inside the 10 yard Line
44 Split Cover 2 Invert
- Base Align Press
- Pinch Line and Crash Down
- Shade Underneath
- Play Sticks
- Place Both Corners in Purples
- Spread LB’s
- Bring FS Down to LB Level
- User Either MLB
44 Split is also found in alot of playbooks, mostly 34 based but it is also in the philly pb if you prefer a 43 base. This works just as well as the 43 over cover 2 sink inside the 10!!!
